Feedback from Our Clients

ZA

Zulkarnain Ariff

Operations Manager · Selangor

"The Listening Visit gave us a written proposal that was specific to our own TMS, not a generic feature list. When we saw it, the team agreed immediately on two of the three suggestions. We did not expect that level of operational detail from an outside advisor."

Norzahra Razali

Customer Service Head · Kuala Lumpur

"I was concerned the Drafting Pilot would confuse my customer service team, but the bilingual training was well-paced and the four-week support made a real difference. When outputs were off, we adjusted together. By week three the team was comfortable using the AI drafts as a starting point."

Faridah Mat Nor

Director of Operations · Putrajaya

"We had looked at two AI platforms before engaging Permata Move. Both required system changes we were not ready to make. The Listening Visit helped us understand what we could do with what we already have. That was the most useful part — knowing what is worth pursuing and what is not."

Hairudin Ismail

Fleet Manager · Johor Bahru

"The monthly brief under the Stewardship Retainer has become part of our regular management meeting. It keeps the AI assist from drifting — the output sampling catches things we would not have noticed ourselves. Worth the retainer fee for that alone."

Salleh Kamarudin

General Manager · Perak

"The compliance aspect is something we had not thought through before. Permata Move flagged two areas where our planned AI use touched on APAD guidance that we had not read carefully. That alone made the Listening Visit worthwhile — we would rather know early."

Wong Yoke Lin

Terminal Superintendent · Penang

"What I appreciated most was that the advisor actually sat at the dispatch counter during peak hours. That is not something consultants usually do. The proposals in the brief reflected what actually happens at 7 am, not what a process diagram shows."

Case Studies

Three Operator Journeys

Intercity Operator · Selangor to Kuantan Route

Challenge

Customer enquiry volume during public holidays was creating a backlog that dispatchers were handling manually alongside route coordination. Response times slipped, and incorrect information was occasionally sent.

Our Engagement

A Listening Visit identified three repeatable enquiry types that suited an AI drafting assist. A Drafting Pilot followed. Integration was read-only; dispatchers confirmed each reply before sending. Bilingual training covered all three shifts.

Outcome

By week four of the pilot, the team reported that AI drafts were used as a starting point for around 60% of routine enquiries. Average review time per reply dropped noticeably. The operator continued with a Stewardship Retainer.

Airport Transfer Operator · Kuala Lumpur

Challenge

Route deviation logs were being compiled manually at the end of each shift. The process was inconsistent — some shifts produced detailed logs, others very brief ones. Leadership had no reliable way to spot patterns across weeks.

Our Engagement

The Listening Visit identified the deviation log compilation as a suitable candidate for AI summarisation. A scoped proposal was delivered within five working days, covering integration with the TMS export and the confirmation step required before submitting to management.

Outcome

The operator completed the Drafting Pilot and reported that AI-generated deviation summaries were consistent across shifts. Dispatchers spent less time on log compilation. A monthly brief from the Stewardship Retainer now tracks summary quality over time.

School Bus Fleet Operator · Petaling Jaya

Challenge

Parent enquiries about delays and route changes were arriving across multiple channels — phone, WhatsApp, and email. There was no consistent way to track which enquiries had been answered, and some parents received conflicting information.

Our Engagement

After a Listening Visit, we recommended a scoped AI assist for grouping and drafting responses to repeatable parent queries. Scope deliberately excluded non-routine situations. APAD guidance on parent communication obligations was checked before recommending the approach.

Outcome

The operator chose not to proceed with a pilot at that time, citing staff readiness. The Listening Visit brief was used internally to plan a phased approach over the following term. Permata Move provided a follow-up call at no additional cost six months later.
